23 Metre high concrete Diversion Dam/Barrage, intake structure with undersluices, spillweir and gates, desilting tanks with underground silt ejecting pipes, storage reservoir, coffer dams and other appurtenant works in Kinnaur District, Himachal Pradesh, India.
ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION
The Construction work was carried out in extreme cold weather conditions and the project area remains snow bound for 4 months in a year. The Works were carried out at an elevation of 2450 Meters above MSL, which is the highest elevation at which a project of this nature has been constructed in the country.
