The Sorang Hydroelectric Project is a 100 MW run-of river hydroelectric scheme powered by the Sorang Khad, a river originating in the Himalayas. The project is owned by the Himachal Sorang Power Limited (HSPL) and is located near village Sorang Dogri in Nichar Tehsil of Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh State in India.EPC for laying down of penstock from upper end of bend 12 to the upstream end of existing Y bifurcation for Sorang HEP (2x50MW).
